2009 — 2026 · A Community Story
From Oakland Digital
to BRIDGEGOOD.
Nearly two decades of creativity, community, and opportunity. Oakland Digital began in 2009 with $300 and a belief in Oakland's creative talent. In 2019, we officially changed our name to BRIDGEGOOD to serve more people.
Oakland Digital Arts and Literacy Center Inc. is now BRIDGEGOOD, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. EIN: 27-0720655.
2009 · The Beginning
It started with $300.
A small beginning.
A founder, a dream, and a city full of creative talent.
A big belief.
That Oakland deserved access to digital skills, design, and opportunity.
A community answered.
Students, entrepreneurs, artists, mentors, and partners showed up.

The Oakland Digital Archive
Oakland showed up.
Oakland Digital helped students, entrepreneurs, artists, small businesses, and community organizations build digital confidence — from classroom labs to murals, from first portfolios to first jobs.
Creative Confidence
Creativity opened doors.
Digital access became economic opportunity. INSPIRE Oakland, ODALC, mentorship circles, and design programs created a generation of creators who saw themselves in the work.
